Bus trip to the Gold Coast Orchid Fair, November 2010

Member Colin Cook has made a few garden gates for himself and neighbours; snaps of three of them are shown. They are generally admired as attractive and adding 'something' to the garden. He would be happy to make similar gates for Garden Club members.The detail design depends on the purpose of the gate - keeping dogs in or simply decorative - and what materials he hasaround. He tries to use re-cycled timber whenever possible. The cost would be about $50 (maybe more, maybe less depending on size and complexity) plus any out-of-pocket expenses for materials.
