On November 6th a full busload of members and guests attended the Tweed Gold Coast Orchid Fair at the Tweed Civic Centre.The standard of the Champion Orchids on display was extremely high and there was much buying of orchids in the Trading Hall. Lunch was a smorgasbord at the Tweed Heads Golf Club and it was very noticeable that everyone walked much slower back to the bus to return home.
